About Us

On a historic day, September 5, 1858, a group of twelve visionary pioneers from the tight-knit Texas frontier community of Dicey, felt a profound call to establish something enduring – the Clear Fork Baptist Church. This wasn't just any church; it became one of the inaugural places of worship in what we now know as Parker County, Texas. Dicey, a settlement brimming with family life and characterized by its residents as "one big family," was a place where everyone knew your name and looked out for one another. At the heart of this close-knit community stood the Clear Fork Baptist Church, serving as a focal point of faith, fellowship, and unity.

Today, the Clear Fork Baptist Church stands majestically as a striking landmark and a beacon of hope along the roads of 730 South and Ragle Road. It's not just a building; it's a vibrant testament to the faith and resilience of those early Christian pioneers and the generations that have followed. Their dedication and prayers have kept the spirit of God's church vibrant and alive, making it a source of inspiration and a point of interest for all who pass by.
